Commencing 19 October Koru Virtual will have its own regular event – the Friday Niterider.

The Niterider was was originally designed to allow airline customers to travel between the three main centres of New Zealand, at a nominal fare (carry on baggage only) for a weekend. They could travel Friday night, and return home Sunday night, and this Niterider Event will run every Friday night from 19 October. We have created it so Koru Pilots can participate in our own regular flight, but not tied to one route. There is a choice of three, flying either way and not excessive in length. You may choose to fly two sectors….. Take part in the event when you can. Obviously everyone can’t make it every Friday night with other commitments, but it will be there for when you are able to. It will also be a great opportunity to get on Discord and join in group chat while flying. We look forward to seeing you in the sky with the Friday Niterider.

Flight and ATC Bookings
We encourage pilots and controllers alike to book your intention to fly or provide ATC using vroute.
These bookings display on the VATNZ website and allow others to know when and where to expect pilots and controllers to be online.
